As it becomes increasingly clear, all will have to admit the quality of life for Michigan citizens is under assault. As Senator, Arlan will promote sound solutions to resolve the state’s problems for the long term.
There is great need to assist Michigan businesses and help them remain competitive; in turn they will be able to provide jobs Michigan's children, grandchildren and all Michiganders. Tremendous pressure will be put on Michigan families if children and grandchildren cannot find employment in Michigan.
Positive solutions are required to promote and improve Michigan's education system. A properly prepared student will make a valuable employee and a productive citizen.
To protect the Great Lakes and ground water, Michigan need common sense legislation. Over-regulation of this irreplaceable resource would be crippling to Michigan’s economy. Arlan has many years of problem solving experience in the areas of business, education and local government, would consider it a privilege to use those skills and serve on your behalf in Lansing.
